- Program Name: Undergraduate Complexity Research (UCR) program
- Duration: June 2 – August 10, 2024 (10 weeks)
- Location: Santa Fe Institute campus, Santa Fe, New Mexico
- Tuition & Fees: No tuition fees; participants receive a stipend of $700 per week, housing, meals, and travel support
- Program Goals:
- Conduct independent transdisciplinary research projects guided by SFI mentors
- Enhance understanding of complex systems research through discussions and seminars
- Network with colleagues and collaborators
- Develop technical and professional skills for future career opportunities
- Join a supportive UCR community

- Mentors selected from a transdisciplinary network of SFI faculty
- Audience: Undergraduate students from various backgrounds in physical, natural, and social sciences, and mathematics
- Eligibility:
- Current undergraduate students
- College seniors graduating after December 2024 are eligible
- High school graduates not yet in undergraduate study are not eligible
